I’ve been wanting to make little animal magnets for the longest time. Well, too be perfectly honest I wanted little dinosaurs (I have a few painted dino toys strewn about the apartment) but couldn’t find any mini dinos so I decided to pick a little assortment of animals. I’m kind of a die hard animal lover – but not to the extent where I think lions are my friends and they would do me no harm. But none the less, I love me some four legged mammals. This is probably as simple as you can get when it comes to DIY projects. All you need is your choice of figurines (I found mine at Michael’s Craft Store), magnets – make sure they are an appropriate size to hold your animals, a hot glue gun & glue of course, and last but not least paint of your color choice. I personally am in love with gold – as well as Martha Stewarts little paint collection. She just has so many amazing colors to choose from. The rest is self explanatory - paint your animals, let them dry, glue your magnets on, then bada-bing bada-boom – you’ve got yourself some cute little magnets to add a little flare to your fridge. This would be a great project to do with kids if you have any – or if you babysit, and would be a cute little gift for someone who likes trinkets like these. (I’m definitely a trinket person – but I’m trying to get better about it because trinkets cause to much clutter.)Sometimes it’s the little projects that can be the most fun. As easy as it was to do I wish I had a whole stampede of these little guys on my fridge!
